color.You could almost say that
space and form is the black and
white of an image.

attention should be on contrast
as you graduate your color from
dark to light.

What needs to be done to the pastel
is to add the brighter colors on the
side light is shining on and the dark
to the shaded side. |

The build up of brighter color toward the highlight and the deep colors in the shadows
is what makes the apples appear round. |
